Cutting Instructions:

Cream/White (from your stash)

  • 2 rectangles 2 1/2 ˝ x 4 1/2 ˝
  • 2 rectangles 2 1/2 ˝ x 3 1/2 ˝
  • 10 squares 2 1/2 ˝ x 2 1/2 ˝
  • 2 rectangles 1 1/2 ˝ x 2 1/2 ˝

Green – provided

  • 1 strip 2 1/2 ˝ x 10 1/2 ˝
  • 1 strip 2 1/2 ˝ x 8 1/2 ˝
  • 1 strip 2 1/2 ˝ x 6 1/2”
  • 1 rectangle 2 1/2 ˝ x 4 1/2 ˝

Brown – Scrappy from your stash

  • 1 square 2 1/2 ˝ x 2 1/2 ˝

Step 1: Draw diagonal line on wrong side of each of the 10 cream/white 2 1/2 ˝ squares  nov-tree1

 

Step 2: Place 2 ½ cream/white square on green rectangle 2 ½ x 10 1/2 ˝ strip, right sides together. Stitch on drawn line; trim to ¼ inch . Repeat on the opposite side, press to the green. (be sure to follow the diagram to ensure you sew the squares on correctly)nov-tree2

Step 3: A: Repeat Step 2 using 2 ½ cream/white square and 2 ½ x 8 ½ green strip press to the greennov-tree3

B: Sew 1 ½ x 2 ½ rectangle to each side of the 2 ½ x 8 ½ strip nov-tree4

Step 4: A: Repeat Step 2 using 2 ½ cream/white square and 2 ½ x 6 ½ green strip press to the greennov-tree3

B: Sew 1 ½ x 2 ½ rectangle to each side of the 2 ½ x 6 ½ strip nov-tree4

 

 

Step 5: A: Repeat Step 2 using 2 ½ cream/white square and 2 ½ x 4 ½ green strip press to the greennov-tree3

B: Sew 1 ½ x 2 ½ rectangle to each side of the 2 ½ x 4 ½ strip nov-tree4

 

Step 6: Sew 2 ½ x 4 ½ cream/white rectangle to each side of the 2 ½ brown squarenov-tree5

You are now ready to assemble the Tree
