Cutting:

From white (provided)

Cut two (2) 2” x 8.5” rectangles

Cut two (2) 2” x 11.5” rectangles

Cut eight (8) 2” squares

Cut four (4) 4.5”squares of purple (all from the same fabric)

From Yellow

Cut one 2.5” inch circle – template included in downloadable pdf

Step 1: Sew 2 white squares to each Purple Square — make 4

Step 2: Sew Purple Squares together make 2

Step 3: Sew the units together to form the pansy

Unit will measure 8.5”

Add Borders to the Pansy Block

Step 4: Sew 2 x 8.5 inch rectangle to each side of block in Step 3

Step 5: Sew 2 x 11.5 Inch rectangles to each side of block in Step 4

Add Yellow Circle you can use your method of choice,: needle turn applique, fusible applique, yoyos would also be cute, your choice.

Block will measure 11.5″ square
