Dark Green — Cut 1 2.5 x 4.5 inch rectangle

Medium/Light Green — Cut 2 2.5 x 4.5 inch rectangles   AND Cut 2 2.5 inch squares

White (provided) Cut: 8 2.5 inch squares  AND  Cut 2 4.5 inch squares

Red or Pink Fabric — Cut 1 10.5 inch square

Step 1: Draw diagonal line on the back of 6 2.5 inch white squares

Step 2: Sew 2 of the White squares with diagonal lines to the Red Square in each of the top two corners. Trim to ¼ inch from stitching line.

Step 3: Draw a Diagonal line across the back of each white 4.5 inch square. Place 4.5 inch square in the bottom 2 corners of the Red square and sew on the line Trim to ¼ inch from stitching line

Step 4: Using 1 white square and 1 medium/light green 2.5 inch square with right sides together sew on the diagonal line and trim to ¼ inch from stitching line. Make 2

Step 5: Sew white square to block made in step 4. You will make 2 blocks – follow picture so you have mirror images

Step 6: Sew 2.5 inch square to Medium/Light Green 2.5 x 4.5 rectangle. You will make 2 that are mirror images. PLEASE SEE PICTURE FOR ORIENTATION

Step 7: Sew blocks made in step 5 and step 6 and Dark Green Rectangle together in the following pattern

Step 8: Sew Block made in Step 7 to block made in Step 3
